We have the most extensive event facility in the area. Whether your event is formal requiring a dedicated function hall, or a casual gathering, we have the facilities to make your event special

Relax in our Member’s Lounge

We have a fully equipped lounge for member’s that includes pool tables, dart boards, flat panel TVs.  It is a great place to hang out with friends and catch a game

Come Shoot with Us

We offer a complete set of pistol, rifle, trap and skeet ranges for members to hone their skills.  We also offer NRA safety classes for those who want to learn more about shooting or get ready for their certification

We also have a full archery range and a large stocked pond. One of our most popular annual community events is our annual fishing derby held each spring

Youth Programs

We offer several programs that help teach children and teens how to safely take up all our activities.

Join a League

The club participates, and competes in, several regional adult and youth sports leagues. If you are interested in pistol, rifle and trap or pool, there is a league available

Club Events

The club hosts regular events that are open to our member's and often to the community at large.  One of our most popular is our bi-weekly steak dinners, held during the spring, summer and fall

    Annual Range Officers Meetings 3/14-15 9am

    The annual RO meeting will be held on Saturday and Sunday, the weekend of March 14th and 15th beginning at 9:00 AM in the function hall.  All members need to attend one of the two days, you do not need to attend both.
     
    At this meeting details and updates to the ranges will be communicated.  This meeting will cover all ranges, trap and skeet along with rifle and pistol.  Any member looking to gain Range Officer status should attend, all existing Range Officers are required to attend to maintain RO status for 2015.  New key cards/fobs will be handed out, combinations to the outdoor ranges and gates will also be changed and updated at this meeting.

    BSA Scouts Skeet a.m., Indoor Range 3/21, Afternoon

    BSA Troop 63 will be on the skeet field the morning of March 21st, and

    at the Indoor Range in the afternoon. We will reserve a number of indoor range positions for member use as needed. This training class will Not close the indoor range to members.

    Troop 63 will be camping in the Field Friday & Saturday evenings.

    NRA Home Firearm Safety Course

    On Tuesday March 24th from 6:30pm-10pm Ken Chin will be running an NRA Home Firearm Safety Course at the club. If you have friends or family interested in learning gun safety and want to apply for an FID or LTC (License to Carry) permit this is the class that they need. Pre-registration is required. Class may be cancelled if low enrollment.

Welcome to the Maynard Rod and Gun Club

For almost 100 years the Maynard Rod and Gun Club has provided an environment where individuals and families come to enjoy nature and participate in outdoor sports. We offer a full spectrum of activities to our members including ranges for the shooting enthusiast, camping and fishing for those who love the outdoors, and a regular stream of social events where you can meet with friends and just relax.

We are also very active with the community, opening up many of our events to the public. We are home to several sports leagues, and we host countless events for individuals and groups who make use of our varied function facilities.
